Jessica W.
Private tutor in Brunswick, Australia
Education
I am a Master of Science by Research candidate at La Trobe University in Melbourne. I was a Microbiology and Animal Health major as an undergrad and graduated with honours from La Trobe. My Masters project involves the investigation of proteins from the parasitic liver fluke to find an ideal vaccine candidate against the infection in sheep and cattle.
Experience
I am currently a demonstrator in biochemistry for La Trobe University, and I have previous experience tutoring 3rd year immunology and parasitology as well as 2nd and 3rd year biochemistry. I have an Honours degree in Animal and Veterinary Bioscience from La Trobe University in Melbourne. I also teach violin and music theory outside of university. I want to be a tutor because I enjoy learning and I wish to encourage that in others. My areas of expertise are arithmetic, biology, English, microbiology, and chemistry, and I can tutor students at practically any skill level.
