Education

I earned a Master of TESOL degree from Victoria Melbourne in 2017. I scored 7.0 on my IELTS and am currently a student at Monash University pursuing a Master of Education degree.

Experience

I'm interested in tutoring because I want to earn some extra money and gain practical experience. I have been a TESOL instructor for the past six years. I also enjoy helping people, whether that means using counting cubes to help visual learners understand basic arithmetic or helping older students develop their public speaking skills. I enjoy meeting new people and feel comfortable working with students from all backgrounds. I always try to create a safe learning environment where students understand that it's okay to make mistakes as part of the educational process. I also encourage questions as inquisitive students are more engaged in the learning process and generally experience better outcomes than those who see it as a chore.
