Education

I graduated Year 12 in 2012 with an ATAR of 99.75, including a perfect study score of 50 in Biology, a 47 in Chemistry, a 41 in Mathematical Methods, and a 40 in Specialist Mathematics. I earned a GAMSAT score of 80 in 2014. I later earned a bachelor's degree in Human Structure and Function in 2015 with H1 (first-class honours) grades in all anatomy and physiology subjects that I took, including Human Locomotor Systems and Viscera and Visceral Systems. I am currently studying medicine at the University of Melbourne.

Experience

I have been tutoring Unit 3/4 Biology, Chemistry, and Mathematical Methods since 2013 and am passionate about working with aspiring students. I am well-versed in the study designs of each of these subjects and can assist students with core concepts, exam techniques, and practice questions. I am also happy to tutor Unit 1/2 mathematics and science subjects or younger students. Since 2013, I have seen several of my students achieve study scores of 45+ in Biology and will work with students to hone their exam technique as it is often the difference between good and great results! For university students, I am happy to tutor any undergraduate anatomy subject on request. I also work with prospective postgraduate medical students on their essay writing for Section 2 of the GAMSAT, providing feedback on practice essays, tips on how to improve, and advice on topics to focus on. I am happy to provide tutoring for Sections 1 and 3 of the GAMSAT as well. I have a passion for teaching and mentoring students and will take the time to tailor my teaching to the individual needs of each student. I love seeing people achieve their full potential and will do my best to assist my students in reaching that potential.

Hobbies

In my spare time I keep active, playing basketball, running, and hitting the gym regularly. I enjoy reading - it is important to study and absorb the knowledge and lessons of others for a well-rounded, successful life and books are a fantastic way in which to do this. Film photography, watching movies and checking out new restaurants around town in my downtime from study keep me occupied besides!
